Controlled production flow from sample to shipment.
The Concept
In response to increasing demands for lightweight, high-strength defense solutions, Omnis partnered with a global defense contractor to develop next-generation armor components. The goal was clear: enhance vehicle survivability while minimizing additional mass, ensuring operational agility in high-risk zones.

The Challenge
Modern armored vehicles require ever-improving protection against increasingly sophisticated threats, including armor-piercing rounds and IEDs. The challenge was to engineer a multi-layered protective material that could offer maximum defense without impairing speed, maneuverability, or fuel efficiency.

Our approach
Material Innovation
Engineered a multi-layer composite blending boron carbide ceramics with a reinforced polymer matrix and metalized backing for maximum energy absorption.
Advanced Manufacturing Process
Utilized custom layering techniques and high-pressure molding for consistent density and structural bonding across large surface areas.
Testing & Validation
Conducted simulated impact tests, followed by live-fire ballistic certification to validate resistance, weight performance, and field readiness.

The Results
35%
reduction in armor weight.
NIJ Level IV
ballistic resistance achieved.
Seamless
integration with minimal redesign required.

The client
"Omnis delivered a material solution that exceeded our strictest requirements for ballistic resistance and structural integration. Their collaborative mindset and technical mastery made all the difference."
